2008-2009 Annual Conference Report - "Releasing the Power"

Dear TMCI Family,

Glory to God ! Thank you so much for your prayers for our 2008-2009 Annual Conference. The Lord answered in such wonderful ways. Many are saying that it was our best conference yet. We anticipate a great ripple effect going out as we have met as a body with Almighty God !

We praise God for our many guests from as far as Wyoming, California, Texas, Oklahoma, and Iowa. We also enjoyed seeing several of our missionaries who made the trip from Belize, Guatemala, the Domincan Republic and Romania. One thing we all had in common was needing the Lord to "release His power" to us through a fresh encounter with Him. TMCI members notoriously serve our Lord on the front lines (often in isloation) where the daily needs are God-sized. In His mercy, God does something miraculous each year when our tattered army comes together. Everyone who came received strengthening from the Lord to return to their callings refreshed and empowered again!

In addition to the powerful preaching, teaching and sweet times of fellowship, there were a few notable things that also went into making this conference extra special. First, the support given by our local members who teamed up to host and serve was overwhelming. For well over 10 years, the bulk of the work of the conference has been handled by Bishop Bob & Ginny Coulter. This year we asked for help. The response was excellent. We praise God for the folks who answered the call to give of themselves and bless God’s people. Secondly, Bishop Tom Solomon hosted a prayer room ministry this year. Our prayer room was active in mighty ways for our speakers and many others throughout the conference! Our time together in the Lord’s sweet presence was like Peter, James, and John on the Mountain when Jesus was transfigured before their eyes. In a similar way, the ministry of the Holy Spirit at this year’s conference was heavy upon us and none of us want to recover! Hallelujah!

Our only regret each year is that only a small percentage of our fellowship is able to make the trip to our Annual Conference. We know that significant obstacles prevent many of you from coming and we have prayed earnestly for a solution. Our loving, Heavenly Father has answered. Special thanks go out to Revs. David and Rose Krantz of Kingdom Discovery Ministries who recorded and filmed all of our conference sessions. What a wonderful job they did! Our underground army has surfaced for another year. Now, let’s come down from the Mountain of Glory and be woven back into the valley of human need where we’re called to "rescue the perishing and care for the dying". We are now strengthened to proclaim His wonderful Name and build His glorious Kingdom! You have His power for what’s ahead!
