This floor still needs to be cemented (that is Piso #2) and the cost was $600.00 last year. The new school roof was painted this year, and the interior walls received a fresh coat of paint.
*New additions previously planned are postponed indefinitely due to surveys and potential purchase of terrain bordering the school which is necessary for expansion.
***Other special projects that were accomplished this year:
1 We helped Pastor Antonio purchase land to build his church. He has been holding services in his little house.
2. We helped Martita and her family obtain city water for their house.
3. We passed out Baskets of Grace filled with food and gifts to needy families.
4. We purchased a 1998 Suburban for the Ministry.
Thanks to all our faithful ministry partners, and especially The Missionary Church International and Divine Destiny for giving their finances and for giving us hands-on help by coming to Guatemala and blessing the people with their time and serving hearts. We thank the Lord for all He has done through Bridges of Grace Ministry. We know He is our Strength and our Shield, and He perfects the things that concern us. As He leads, we will follow—One Step at a Time.
Continuing Projects - Bridges of Grace Ministries 2010
Finish: Cement Floor Large Activity Area (Piso #2) Cost – Approx-$600 - $650.00
Re-cement and tile Maria’s Front Room (Piso #4) Cost – Approx-$400 - $450.00
New Projects: Electricity for Martita’s home. - Initial Expense - $400.00
Fountain of Grace Church, (Pastor Antonio Colop) Electricity & water hook-up- Approx - $600.00
Major Focus: Finances to buy land. To prepare for the future of this ministry, we need to buy land as soon as possible. Helping Pastor Antonio buy land taught me something. To be in a solid bargaining position in Guatemala, you have to have money in your hands. Bartering is a necessity of life here. . That’s how they buy and sell their products, and land is no different. We are setting up a special fund to receive finances toward this goal. It is part of our vision and our next big step of faith.
Land is our priority and our focus:Cost varies by location: Approximate Initial Cost: $25,000
Please pray for what God would have you to do to participate in the advancement of the kingdom of God on earth. If the Holy Spirit is leading you to sow into the land, please make checks payable to:
