The other day I had an assignment as a substitute teacher at the Everman
district of Fort Worth, Texas. Due to the fact that the teacher did not have a
full lesson plan for the day, I shared with the kids about a young boy\u2026.
Yeshua (Luke 2:52). He grew in wisdom, stature, and favor\u2026.
The 5th graders were really into learning about this young Jewish boy.
I shared with the kids the importance of having wisdom, by having
healthy relationships with our authorities. I can teach Bible principles at
school, but I have to be very wise with how I do it.
The kids are very surprised to have a male teacher; the schools are full of
women (very good, most of them) and very few men. Please pray that I
may be able to share the light Christ with the young generations.<\/p>\n
Every first Saturday of the month, I am doing an evangelistic outreach here in the
N. Richland Hills area. I am helping a Methodist church to share a devotional, and I
do some music in English and Spanish. A few weeks ago, I shared a Bible story bout
Elisha and Namaan. When I mentioned Syria, a woman on the audience paid full
attention to my words and at the end she said to me, \u201cI am from Syria, and I know
some of those places you mentioned in the Bible story. I did not know how much
God loves my people!!\u201d God loves your people and He loves you.<\/p>\n
Please pray for the churches Luz a las Naciones in Chiapas, Mexico. The drug
cartels are taking over the towns, demanding money and basically controlling what they do and
how they do it. The church services are on the times that the drug cartels allow because of
curfews. My pastor friend is Daniel Ruiz. His son Alex Ruiz is the pastor of the other churches.
Please pray for safety and strength. We are sending them a monthly offering from
your donations. Thank you very much.<\/p>\n
Emily is working as a personal teacher for three teens with autism. As you can imagine,
sometimes it is very challenging, but she is using the Bible to teach them, and she has begun to
see an improvement in their behavior.<\/p>\n
Analynne is at a Bible college in Jackson Hole, Wyoming Jonathan
continue his education at T&AM and he is taking some seminary
classes at the same time and serving as a spiritual leader for a
discipleship class. David and Eli are serving at heir church and
working on getting Elis residency ( Green card)<\/p>\n
Please pray for us, I ( Carlos ) had been in contact with pastors in
Guatemala, Mexico and here in Texas. I had been trying to open an
extension of the Bible institute in the DFW area, but do to the business of life, the coordination
had been unsuccessful.
