Thanksgiving 2025
Greetings from Nicaragua! I hope each of you had a blessed Thanksgiving. I was blessed to spend Thanksgiving in Nicaragua this year with my daughters as well as some of our staff and our Nicaraguan family. We have so much to be thankful for, but we are especially grateful for each of you who keep us in your prayers and financially support this ministry. Thank you so much!

Urgent Prayer Request
We are once again in need of a financial miracle and need your prayers. God has always supernaturally sustained us one way or another, and I know somehow He will do it again!
On the 15th and 30th of each month is when we need to pay our teachers and staff here in Nicaragua and we currently don’t have the finances needed to pay them on Monday. Please agree with us for this need. We once again find ourselves behind on our electricity and social security for our teachers and staff. It’s difficult for me to share this with you, but it’s a reality of where we are financially and we need your prayers.
We urgently need $22,444 to make it through the end of the year.
Here is a breakdown of the current expenses we have pending:
Staff Salaries = $8,200
In December, not only do we pay our normal salaries to our teachers and staff, but in Nicaragua, by law, each employee is to receive an extra month of salary, which makes our payroll double this next month. Which they more than deserve, but it makes it difficult for us financially.
Social Security = $5,032
We are behind on paying social security for our teachers and staff since September. Please agree with us for the finances to get caught up with this right away so that we can stay current with the government.
INATEC = $4,712
We recently received this bill from the Nicaraguan government. Inatec is something we were apparently supposed to be paying each month (less than $100 each month), but we have not been receiving a bill from them. So this is the amount they say we owe to get caught up and then we will start paying it each month from now on.
Property Taxes = $3,000
These are local property taxes that we owe at City Hall.
Utilities Bills = $1,500
I am standing and believing God for a miracle! Will you agree with us?
Prayer Points:
Please agree with us for:
-The finances to cover each of these needs.
-Sponsors for the children in our school. We currently have 161 students, and all of our students receive a scholarship of some type. We currently have less than 20 sponsors.
-Monthly supporters needed for 2026.
Our donors who faithfully support New Hope each month come to $2,195 which is an extreme blessing but does not cover our basic operating expenses which is approximately $7,000 each month. Please agree with us for more people who will catch the vision of New Hope Children’s Foundation.
Graduation 2025
Monday, December 1st is our last day of school for the 2025 school year. Our graduations are scheduled for December 10th and 12th. This will be our 20th graduation. Next month we will look forward to sharing pictures with you of the graduations as well as testimonies from some of our graduates. This year’s graduation is going to be even more special for me than past ones as I am blessed to have my youngest daughter Grace graduating from our school, More Than Conquerors! She will be sharing something with you in our next update as well. I am looking forward to what God has in store for her future. I am also grateful to have my other 3 daughters working here in New Hope Children’s Foundation. They are a blessing!
Thank all of you who are already partnering with us in Nicaragua to make a difference. We appreciate you so much!
In Christ,
Charity Ford
Thank you all so much for your prayers and support of
New Hope Children’s Foundation!
